Meet the Founder

Himani Malhotra is a rising junior at Troy High School and an aspiring neurosurgeon.  She is also a published children's author on Amazon.  During her free time, she enjoys dancing, swimming, and writing.  Himani is very passionate about helping others in her community and enjoys learning more about healthcare.  She aims to bridge the gap by providing access to affordable healthcare in rural, underserved areas in India.  Her goal is to make sure that each and every community in rural India has the necessary resources to prevent and manage diabetes.

Our Story

India has been named the diabetes capital of the world.  As an Indian-American who repeatedly saw diagnoses within close family, Himani felt compelled to take action.  By founding a nonprofit dedicated to educating others about diabetes and preventing the spread of diabetes in rural areas, Himani hopes to create change in the increasing amount of annual diabetes cases.  Recently, she visited India where she witnessed the lack of medical resources in underserved communities and also led a medical camp in a rural village.  Himani feels greatly passionate about healthcare access for all and hopes to control the spread of diabetes in communities around the world.

Our
Mission

We are dedicated to enhancing healthcare accessibility and providing education for diabetes in underserved rural areas through our partnership with a reputable charitable trust. Our goal is to mitigate the prevalence of diabetes in rural areas.
